Manslaughter charges filed in Vedanta chimney case

Indian police have filed manslaughter charges against three local managers of the Britain-based Vedanta mining group in connection with an industrial chimney collapse that killed 40 workers (see http://londonminingnetwork.org/2009/09/uk-company-vedanta%E2%80%99s-indian-disaster/ for background).
