The “mission” to cost environmental destruction, and include the loss of natural resources in government and business balance sheets, has reached a new stage.
The final report of “The Economics of Ecoystems and Biodiversity” (TEEB) exercise, sponsored by a number of financial institutions and companies (including mining) was unveiled a fortnight ago at the 10th Conference of Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP10).
