In November 2017, nearly 2,000 mining company representatives, investors and financiers met at London’s Mines and Money Conference. Deals struck here – with the help of the likes of Nigel Farage and Arron Banks – are fuelling projects around the planet that threaten life, land, water and frontline communities, while locking us into a path towards climate chaos.
In a week of creative action, representatives from Kalikasan (Philippines) and Cosajuca (Colombia) spoke of the resistance in their communities to London-linked companies.
