On 2 November nine people, from the national anti-fracking network Frack Off, halted work at Cuadrilla Resources drilling site in Hesketh Bank, Lancashire. The action coincided with the publication of a new report concluding it is “highly probable” a controversial fracking gas extraction technique triggered two earth tremors on the Lancashire coast.
