An Australian Aboriginal elder has lost his challenge to the federal government’s approval of expansion of the world’s biggest uranium mine. Kevin Buzzacott had argued that insufficient consideration had been paid to the operation’s long-term impacts and risks posed by storage of radioactive wastes.
