Goldcorp has been having problems in Chile. Concerned that their own Collahuasi copper project will suffer the same fate as Goldcorp’s, London-listed Anglo American Plc and Xstrata Plc have already delayed the submission of environmental impact studies in order to ameliorate relations with local communities.
