The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has begun its evaluation of the environmental impact study for the Loma Miranda expansion project planned by London-listed multinational resource group Xstrata’s Falcondo nickel division in the Dominican Republic. The UNDP received a request to conduct the evaluation from the country’s environment ministry in October.
