London activists expose corporate greed Last week, some 200 demonstrators marched in a funeral procession through London, aimed at highlighting human rights abuses by the minerals industry against communities and workers, and the killing of anti-mining activists. Among the London demonstrators’ targets were Rio Tinto, Vedanta, Glencore, Anglo American and Xstrata. Those participating included a number of people from different migrant groups, including D.R. Congo, Nigeria, West Papua, Peru, Colombia & the Philippines.
