No blood minerals in our green transition
Mining for minerals such as copper, nickel and lithium is devastating people’s lands and livelihoods, contaminating the water they drink and the soil that sustains local agriculture. While mining companies conceal their destruction behind greenwashing claims, we’re here to amplify communities’ demands for justice.
We work in solidarity with mining-affected communities to hold London-linked mining companies to account for their harms. We do this by platforming communities’ concerns at company AGMs and events in the UK, challenging extractive narratives in the energy transition and making the case for reduced mining, and advocating for ways of living in harmony with nature.
