Join London Mining Network in a demo outside the Anglo American AGM to stand with communities across the world uniting to resist the company’s devastating legacy.
Anglo American is a mining giant born out of British colonialism in South Africa whose mines have devastated communities across generations and continents – destroying ecosystems and water resources, violating Indigenous land rights, and leaving toxic waste that poisons children.
Communities across the world – from Peru and Chile to Zambia and South Africa – are mobilising to demand reparations for historic harms and justice for broken promises as the British mining giant scrambles to expand its operations under the banner of ‘critical minerals’.
Join us to stand in solidarity with communities globally and send a clear message to Anglo executives: no exit without justice, no mine expansions without community consent.
When: Wednesday 29 April, 10am
Where: 2 Savoy Place, London WC2R 0BL
