On 13 May, eight organisations that put questions to Rio Tinto at its London AGM on 8 April (or, to be precise, at the connected ‘shareholder engagement session’) wrote an open letter [https://londonminingnetwork.org/2020/05/rio-tinto-answer-the-question/] to Rio Tinto’s Chief Executive Office, Jean-Sebastien Jacques, because we had not received adequate answers. We asked the company to respond within three weeks. Eventually, most of us received further answers – but they were still completely inadequate. So we have written again to the company, demanding greater openness.
