Alice Delemare Tangpuori is Senior Strategist at the Sunrise Project, where she leads a programme of work to stop bond financing for fossil fuel developers.
In this talk, Alice will give an introduction to the bond market, explain why bonds are important for fossil fuel companies, and why campaigners need to turn their attention to the bond market in order to cut-off finance for coal, oil and gas expansion. She will present the new Toxic Bonds initiative and share campaign strategies and approaches for stopping ‘toxic bonds’.
